Fun Facts

Some Chinese Gods:

1. The Four Ao - These are four water gods who take form of dragons that control rain and sea around China. The four water kings are:

  •  Ao Kuang- Dragon King of the East Sea
  • Ao Chin- Dragon King of the South Sea
  • Ao Jun- Dragon King of the West Sea
  • Ao Shun- Dragon King of the North

2. Guan- Yu- Chinese War God
Believed to b a war prisoner that was executed as a prisoner of war, but unlike the other gods of war in mythologies, he was best known for courtesy, faithfulness, and being most content when there is peace.

3. Yen-Lo-Wang- The Chinese Death God, ruler of the 5th circle
Originally this death God was had ruled over the first circle of hell but when his was to lenient and because of this heaven was becoming to over crowded. Basically he was demoted and he is a lot tougher on the souls.

4. Sun Wukong- Trickster God also known as monkey
A pregnant stone had a stone egg and from that egg hatched a stone ape that bowed to all four corners of the earth. Finally jumped off the ledge to have fun, and that's Monkeys birth, with incredible strength and speed Sun Wukong is the trickster God

5. Jade Emperor- Chinese Supreme God
With accolades such as the ruler of heaven, creator of the universe, and the lord of the imperial court he lives up to high expectations. Lives in a heavenly palace similar to those on earth, and he governs through a civil service just like that of China.

Best God of the Year goes to
Sui-Ren- Chinese Cookery God
Taught mankind how to take raw materials and make tasty dishes, took China's old ways of cooking food and brought them into stove tops modern area.
  1. The examples of this God in modern day areas would be in the kitchens in China that just like America have stove tops and let's not forget that bacteria being boiled away killed bacteria and saved lives.
  2. His role when referring to the terms of being a regular God was to be helpful to the civilization by teaching them how to cook. Other Gods as well as Sui- Ren help the civilization prosper.
  3. Uke- Mochi Japanese Cookery God gave the people ready meals and T.V.Dinners to mankind. They are similar to each other by providing for mankind
